If you dial 911 on your cell phone from Nevada County, did you know the call is routed to the emergency CHP call center in Rancho Cordova? As the dispatchers in Rancho Cordova are not familiar with Nevada County, this results, at best, in a 3 to 5 minute delay in the dispatch. At worst, from time to time there have been emergency units dispatched to the wrong county!
